Everyone is sitting with his laptop or their expensive phone. Nobody is talking. In old days, a coffee house was full for loud voices, for playing backgammon, news about neighborhood. Now, if you speak a little bit loud, people look at you like you a criminal. We are losing our social soul for high speed internet and fancy plastic cups. My grandfather used to say that coffee without conversation is like a body without a soul. I think the modern world is making us very lonely even if we are sitting in a crowded room.
