coffeelove Salam brothers and sisters. Today I am sitting in a very famous international coffee shop in Istanbul. I look around and I feel a bit sad in my heart. Everyone is sitting with his laptop or their expensive phone. Nobody is talking. In old days, a coffee house was full for loud voices, for playing backgammon, news about neighborhood. Now, if you speak a little bit loud, people look at you like you a criminal. We are losing our social soul for high speed internet and fancy plastic cups. My grandfather used to say that coffee without conversation is like a body without a soul. I think the modern world is making us very lonely even if we are sitting in a crowded room. Do you prefer these new quiet cafes or do you miss the old noisy places where everyone was a friend?
